Backside 50-50

Technique:
1. Place your front foot over the front bolts and your back foot on the tail.

2. Ride up to the coping at a slight angle.

3. As you reach the coping, press slightly on your tail to lift you front truck over the coping.

4. Begin to turn your shoulders.

5. Push down the front of the board as your back truck reaches the coping.

6. You should now have both trucks on the coping and be grinding.

7. Keep your weight centered over the board while leaning slightly into the ramp. Standing straight up or centering your weight solely over the coping may result in you riding out onto the deck of the ramp.

8. As you near the end of your grind, press down on your tail. Turn your shoulders and ride back into the ramp. It is easiest to do this while you still have some momentum as opposed to waiting until your grind comes to a complete stop then dropping back in.
