Irvine Crew Does San Francisco

San Francisco

If the Irvine guys lived on the West Coast, would they make a site called San Francisco Sucks? Are they just negative people, or does Irvine really suck? Either way, I’m guessing they had fun on this trip.

Hello 21

There are skateparks that have worse sets than the one is in this warm-up clip from Hello21. Needless to say, most skateparks also have worse skateboarders than the guy featured in the clip.

How Can I Make Heyday A Better Site?

Heyday

Once in a while I ask the forum members how I can improve the site, and they give me some feedback. Today I’d like feedback from anyone who visits, even if it’s your first time here. Here are a few ideas of things you could give feedback on:

  • What is the best part of Heyday?
  • What is the worst part of Heyday?
  • Is the blog updated often enough?
  • Is there a certain type of content we need more of? For example: pictures, trick tips, videos, how to articles
  • Should the blog contain more than just links to video clips?
  • What are some things you like that other skateboarding sites offer, and that Heyday doesn’t have?
  • Other ideas/suggestions

Please leave a comment with your feedback! Thanks!

Few And Far Between

Chronicles Of Hern posted a bonus montage from the video Few And Far Between. That means it’s all of the fun and cool tricks that didn’t fit into the regular “serious” parts. It’s also got George Harrison music, so you’re in for a good time!

Kings Of Content #3: Mostly Skateboarding

Mostly Skateboarding

Today’s Kings Of Content interview is with Templeton Elliott from Mostly Skateboarding.

Cameron: What is Mostly Skateboarding?
Templeton: It’s a blog/website with links to skate clips and other stuff that I think people would find interesting. Most of the non-skate stuff is photography.

Cameron: How (and when) did Mostly Skateboarding come together?
Templeton: Well I had/have an office job and looked at a lot of websites throughout the day to kill time while waiting for more work to come my way. One of my favorite sites was/is coudal.com which is basically just links to all kinds of cool photography, art, design, etc stuff. I thought it would be cool if someone made something like that for skateboarding then eventually I got bored enough to just do that myself.

Cameron: Why should people visit your site?
Templeton: For a daily dose of skate footage from all over the world.

Cameron: Mostly Skateboarding in 5 words.
Templeton: Links to skate footage.

Cameron: Hahahahaaha.
Templeton: It’s a site with a pretty singular purpose

Cameron: Do you have anything special coming up on the site?
Templeton: I have a park montage in the works, and maybe a real montage, but everyone is claiming their footage for various other videos, so who knows.
